The Cassidy Pub is a local watering hole along Highway 1. It’s located in the rest area just before the turn off to WildPlay Elements Park (aka The Bungy Zone). If you see a number of cars parked in the rest area, it’s also because just down the hill is one of Nanaimo’s favourite swimming holes along the Nanaimo River.
